R4 clones only came second because the Hyper R4i is actually a hardware copy of the EZ-Vi.

I'm rather surprised that the iPlayer can be updated.  Didn't think they would plan that far ahead.

yeah mentioned the r4/ez hardware comment above  ;)

and yeah was thinking about iPlayer that crap now its DEAD with the 1.4 update! ..... but heck today they released an update and they did it!!

I now have a 1.4 compatible FISH TYCOON .. erm iPlayer that thinks its FISH TYCOON :P

I wanted to record me updating the iPlayer, but I scared myself half to death when it didn't work out properly.  Cool thing is, I have it recorded, and I found the solution.  :)

thats great news on the iplayer i never thought that was updatable

PharaohsVizier

It makes the iPlayer sooooo much more attractive.  I was sort of worried about how to recommend people to buy such an expensive cart with no guarantee of an update.  Now that it exists, the price tag might not be such a gigantic pill to swallow.

In any case, I FINALLY get to see why the hype behind Flipnote.  It's pretty cool actually, the camera thing.   :smitten:

@PharaohsVizier you do know that some people have RED led's in their card that blink like normal when updating ...These were test releases or first production run M3i cards :)

Where did you find out about the RED led = fault or something wrong!?

As far as i knew it was/is just a single color led?! ...Can you confirm if you have seen the dual color change :)

Edit and woah 8 minutes for supercard you gotta be kidding?! ...lol people on Gbatemp are bitching about a whole 2 minutes for the iPlayer lol!!!

my dsonei took about 4 minutes with a 4GB memerycard i think 8 minutes was a guide time

@kkan yes I'm going to correct that now.  What I wanted to say is that a solid LED, regardless of color is something wrong.  It was in an email M3 team sent me, it happens to me when for example I stick it in and there is no fcore file.  Because if the update is done, the LED goes off.

I'm confused. I purchased a new Acekard2i, installed AKAIO firmware 1.5 and updated my DSi to firmware 1.4 and now the Acekard2i is being blocked. Did I receive a fake Acekard2i??

U need more then the 1.5 os software, there is a 1.4 firmware update u have to do to the card on a DSi with a firmware less then 1.4 or a DS lite/phat. After the 1.4 firmware flashing of the card, the 1.5 os software works on a DSi with the DSi 1.4 firmware.

I figured it out a few minutes ago. Didn't know the 1.4 firmware patch is separate from the 1.5 firmware. Everything's good and working now (:

haha, I love not have a DSi now. I have an original DS and  lite, and both play flashcarts. I might not get an i till next year.
I like playing video games, whats wrong with it?
I'm gonna turn an old broken gameboy into an mp3 and mp4/avi/flv player.
