ok i downloaded the latest cheats from the supercard site for may supercard mini sd, i added the cheats into  the supercard software, then i wanted to upload them into  my sd but everytime it says

"Access Violation at address 00405089 in module 'Supercard.exe.'. Read of address 00049270, i have the latest firm ware and software , PLEASE HELP!

Make sure the output folder is NOT the SD card directly.  Even if it isn't, try changing the folder anyway, just to see if that helps.

im using the supercard sd program, but what do u mean putting it directly on the sd and changin the output folder, sorry im kinda new at this

anton

Your SuperCard SD Software Patcher has a tab for Options.  In this options tab, you will be able to set the "Output Directory" of the application.  The directory set is the path the software patcher will use to create your newly patched DS roms/save etc.

dantheman is saying, you should make sure this is not directly writing the new files in the SD card drive you have (e.g. G:).

If you want to successfully get this to work, make sure that the Output directory is in your computer hard drive first.  Then transfer it to your SD card by using Windows file copy.

Hope that clears it up.  Feel free to ask if you still have problems.  :)

Sorry, but it still doesnt work i tryed putting it on my desktop then to my sd, it still says error, but what i did noticed that where it said Patch in my supercard mini sd program it said Patch: Fail, is this a problem and if it is how can i fix it?

anton

If your patch is saying Fail then it's caused by the patch settings you are using.  After loading the rom on the supercard patcher, right click on the name and check the patch settings you are using.  Post here what you are using.

You can also refer to the settings on my signature.  It's the same Supercard Patching settings with the same order as it is written on the patching properties page of your ROM.  If you're having trouble, try to take a screenshot of your patch settings as well as screenshots of your error message and we'll try to help. :)

ok , so then how do i change it to this Universal Slot-2 DS Patch Settings:
N/N/Y/N/N/N/Y

Each setting on the rom properties can be set enabled or disabled.
Look at the list of settings at the dialog: Enable Restart, Enable Trim ROM, Faster Gameplay, Enable DMA mode, etc.  The Y and N written pertains to whether or not to enable each of the settings.  Obviously, Y to enable (blue button), N to disable (white button).  I posted that particular setting on my sig as it has given me the most success.  Obviously if it's not successful for you, you have to fiddle the settings a bit to get a successful game to work.
