Got a wii with original wiikey v1 with 1.9s. The wii is waninkoko 4.1u with cios38rev14. What do i need to do to play Detective Conan (Case Closed) PAL without bricking my wii.

To date, I have played Disaster PAL and Another Code R PAL on my NTSC Wii.  First you need to do is to make sure you brick block the games.
From what I have seen thus far, Gecko OS is not able to run the newer games even though it can load or force the proper frequency.

What I have discovered is the Wii disc channel is more than capable of automatically adjusting the frequency so that it works on your NTSC Wii and TV.  So all you really need at this point is to brick block and burn the game.  Since it seems that your Wii firmware is up-to-date, you should be able to use the Disc channel and just load the burnt game.

As far as I know, if you delete the update using Wii Brick Blocker or another program that deletes the update you won't brick your wii. If your modchip is region free then just burn it (after removing the update), insert it in your console and play. If your modchip isn't region free (or if the game doesn't boot, or freezes on a black screen) you can use a homebrew disc booter, I had that problem with Trauma Center New Blood, I think the loader I used was called LibWiiGameLoad.

I used wiibrickblocker 1.3r2 and regionfrii 1.21 then burnt it. Works like a charm. BTW, i checked my wiikey with the 1.9s config disk to make sure the region setting was open. thanks all!

Instead of creating another thread I'll ask here, is there any way to install LibWiiGameLoad as a channel? I have 3 PAL games that won't boot even if patched with RegionFrii, but will boot using LibWiiGameLoad, and would prefer having a channel for that instead of looking for it in the Homebrew Channel. Would a Forwarder Channel work for this?
Edit: Nevermind, downloaded a forwarder channel for Wii Backup Loader and renamed the folder, works perfectly.
