I think $50 is a good guess.  Hopefully it won't be much more than that.

My guess is based on what the original DSONE cost ($50) when it was first introduced. People bought DSONE at that price when it was new even though R4 was cheaper.  I remember DSX sold for like $80 and it pretty much sucked. I think people will buy DSTWO if it works as advertised and if it comes out before the new Cyclo.

theres nothing in the quote saying media player & im sure the SCteam would have put it in the features list if it was there

Since it announced DStwo will be expensive as first...  $55 so far US dollars, $200~ in China region...  only guessing ;D

Prices of all flashcards have come down, except CycloDS. And I seriously doubt they'd want to make the main mistakes as Cyclo. Cyclo is still $50 to this day, and hasn't ever really come down in price. People are starting to wise up to that and buy cheap cards. The best supported card on the market right now is Acekard 2 and it's $13 on Deal Extreme.

No, I'm thinking DSTWO will be $35-$40. It has the same hardware as iPlayer, which is $35 on DX. It's a fair estimate, and the only price difference might depend on the newly coded firmware, features, and built in emulators.
