Does it matter?
I see they have different speeds of card...is faster better??

Could i ask you all to submit the brand of card you are using..
names here in Ozzie  include Toshiba, Panasonic,Lexar(the cheapest...anybody??)Kingston (or something similar sounding), Kodak....

Speed has not been proven to have any real effect since the limiting factor is the super card itself.

However, there has been a show that some brands work better then others. I assume this is most likely because of access speed (more expensive brands tend to have faster access speeds which seem to cause less crashing/locking up)

I use an SD sandisk 256mb without any problems with any games on the SD compatibility list.

I have a X Digital Media 512 CF card i got from walmart a couple months ago. Every game I stick on there has no issues or anything. Real cheap price too, think I paid around 44 bucks for it including the shipping.

The only game giving me issues is Mario Kart, but that gives everyone issues.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

I have a Kingston 512mb sd card which works great. Also use a Sandisk 1gb sd card as well.

Apacer Hi-Speed 1GB SD card - tested: works.

Corsair and IBM sd cards work well
