Well it looks like apple has just released iOS 4.0.1 for the iPhone which "fixes" how the signal bars are displayed on the phone (there are now 5 bars instead of 3). They have also released iOS 3.2.1 for the iPad which there is no change log for but probably does the same thing that 4.0.1 does but does it for the iPad 3G versions. Hopefully Apple doesn't try to say this fixes the signal problem during tomorrows press conference, because it doesn't.

DO NOT update if you have a jailbroken iOS device as there is no jailbreak for these updates yet.
