OK, my friend wants to softmod his wii to play his backups off a HDD. I am looking for clear and concise instructions that work and are up to date. I have searched the internets just a little to find outdated info.

Any help is appreciated.

Look up ModMii. It's a Windows tool that set's up a softmod guide with proper files to softmod a wii. A usb loader is included. I just used it to softmod a friends wii
