Wow what a system! This has really surprised me with how accurate it is. Granted there are times when its off, but I have found it to be damn near spot on 95% of the time. I have played Joy Ride, a race car game where you hold your hands up in the air like your holding a steering wheel and you just simply act as if your driving. Joy ride is amazingly accurate and a fun little kart game. Kinect Sports is also a ton of fun. The soccer game is probably my kids favorite, but they also like the boxing. The boxing is more accurate and fun then Wii Boxing in Wii sports. The bowling game is not as accurate as Wii Sports Bowling, but it sure is fun and damn cool to reach over and pick up a ball and just swing your arm ala Wii Sports Bowling, but with no controller. Where it shines the most is where people will probably use it the most, voice commands. I can tell my XboX, "XboX Pause" and it will quickly pause the movie im watching. Say "XboX Play" and of course it starts to play. You can also say "Kinect" and your dashboard turns into a kinect dashboard where you can navigate it like your Tom Cruise from Minority Report, lol. Also, Kinect can recognize faces. When I come into the cameras view, it recognizes my face and logs in my profile as player one, when my wife or kids walk in next to me it logs in who ever it recognizes as player 2. Whats really cool about this is that its "hot swappable" meaning I can sit down and my daughter jump up in my place and the account will automatically switch to her acct when it sees that she is now playing! It has really shocked me how accurate and well this thing works. I can see it as a niche type control scheme for games, but this is the future of interaction with everyday electronic devices. I could really see TV's one day using an interface like this. The way it smoothly and easily navigates by voice and hand gestures really is a game changer. $150 sounds like alot, but it is worth every penny!
