I checked the source and it seems like the site they mentioned from the article is a prank site.  Even though the 3DS has probably been plausibly swiped from the production line, doubt anyone can crack it this early.

lol M3i ZERO is already compatible at least with the jap firmware ...but afaik only in DS mode

Pretty much all major flashcarts are 3DS compatible ATM.

They speak abstractly and also they don't make any reference for the team's name
