How do I use NDStool?
I got it from here:
http://ds.gcdev.com/dsfirmware/

But when I use it, i just get this lil window that closes a second after I open it. I put it in a seperate folder with the rom I wanted to trim down, same thing. I pressed print screen while it was still open for just a second, and got this:

Any help?

Dudu.exe

you are talking about ndsloader.bin.. not ndstools..

and flashme dot not need ndsloader anymore.. you just copy to your flashcard and run it

Really? I thought NDSTools is what you needed to trim down ROMs, like they say here:
http://www.dgemu.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=88129
and

So I should use NDSloader to do that then?

Ah! Thanks for DS lazy! So now ive trimmed sonic down to a 29mb file, pretty small, but it's still 512mb. How would I make it 256?
Thanks again!

dude, 29megs is smaller than a 256Mb sized rom. You should be good to go  8)
