hello, using a gba micro. using latest firmware 1.53 and 2.431sc software. Also am using a 1gb sd card with my sc sd version. Im wondering if there is a particular directory structure I need to follow in order to see all games? I have 2 folders on the card: GBA and NES. All files in nes folder are there and i can see every rom. I boot the micro, it shows the 2 folders, i choose nes, and it shows 9 pages of roms. The ninth page shows rom 65, yet i have all 772 US roms in this folder. Could someone explain why i cant see the other 707 roms? I dont recall reading anything about object limits inside a folder. Thanks for your time.

what u explain seems to be the FAT16 limit. Create more subdirectories and it should be fine.
nimal Crossing :
Larson" from "Havenile" of Zip code "0816-6534-7899".

Divide them into folders of about 50 ROMs each, then it should work. Just name the folders based on the first and last games in them; for instance, name the first folder "#-A", the second "B-Ch", etc.

As satanduck stated, there is a limit to the number of files you can have in a folder under FAT16, or at least there's a limit to how many the SC can read.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

thx guys much appreciated. that did the trick. I now have both gba and nes separated into lettered folders. I see all now. Big bonus=makes searching faster and easier as well. Thanks again fellas.
