I'm enjoying all these updates. Though I'm sure this is probably just a release to fix the increased size problems, we may see a couple more games working which would also make me smile.

woo hoo!  i hope this helps sims work without passme (for SD users)...  and maybe tony hawk works properly?  Now for an extremely slow download... :(

maybe i'll keep refreshing http://l33t.spod.org/ratx/DS/SC/ until they have it

or maybe i will wait a mirro.. 0.4k of downloads rate is terrible!

if its just the big rom fix.. i will keep using the 2.431 becouse has better compatibility with flashme..

many games with 2.432 has to use passme and i dont have one

hey dudu, in case you don't read the in the DS compatibility forum, i quote myself:
Quote from: "sneef"hey dudu.. i think it may be different for CF version.  I'm using SD.  just patched sims 2 with 2.431 to see if i can boot with flashme.. 2 white screens :(

seems for us SD users, we have to rely on 2.432 and passme.  (at least for sims2)

I guess you CF users have a better compatibility rate...  maybe 2.433 will change that? :)

Koji

I haven't messed with tony hawks before... but it seems to be working now on my SD without it being ripped.

DBZ super sonic warriors 2 now also works without a patch.

This is awesome! Fixing all these compatibility issues in such a short time is a nice change of pace. Romman rules!

with new patcher?

sneef

using which patcher? mine freezes either before creating a user (if i dont' use a pre-existing save from ratx's site)

or if i use that save (on a non-ripped version of TH) it freezes at some random point before i actually get to play.

if i use a trimmed version (cut32) then i at least can play freeplay with no issues.

what method are you using that works without trimming?

Koji

Yes, I'm using the 2.433 patcher. Tony hawk does still lock up at the user name -shrugs- Like I said I hadn't used played the game before. I assumed it didn't work before at all unless ripped.

I know DBZ wasn't working before without a patch and that works now anyways.

sneef

sweet.  but as usual, whenever i download from supercard.cn, it locks up after a few percent.. totally locks up as in 0kbps.

I guess we pressed to much romman to releast this firmware becouse the mario Kart.. and the pather wanst ready yet .. there is a lot of bugs in theses news verions.. like games stop workig, big roms, diferent SD / CF compatibility

sneef

yeah.  I don't blame the supercard team at all. they have given the users what we asked for: updates.  some users even begged to be given the unfinished product!  well, i guess I would rather be beta testing than not have any new updates!
