First post - hope someone can help.

I've bought a DS which has already had its firmware changed using flashme. Is there any way of finding out which version has been used. I'm not in a position to ask the person I purchased it from.

visit here http://ds.gcdev.com/dsfirmware/ download the file and follow the instructions.  Downloading this version will ensure that you don't brick your DS if you try to run MarioKart or Tony Hawk.  Cheers and welcome to the supercard website.

Thanks for your help guys - I bravely attempted the flashme upgrade and found it went to 100% without me needing to short out SL1 - presumed this was OK. Mario Kart appears to run fine.

Does this sound OK to you guys - I was ready to bridge the contacts etc. but did seem necessary.
