thanks for all the info posted in my previous thread, but now i have some more questions...

how exactly do i flash? i have a new blue ds and i've seen soooo many tutorials that are either old or just dont make any sense. do i even need to short my ds w/ a screwdriver if i have a newer ds? can anyone point me to a tutorial to flash a new ds from scratch? so far, i've got this out of all the tuts ive read...

1 get a sc, passme2, game on list (metriod demo, feel the magic, etc...), sd card, (sd reader, computer, brain, etc...)
2 put game on list in passme2 and put passme2 in ds
3* put files on sd card, put sd card in sc, put sc in ds.
4 turn on ds and then
5 ?
6 something with screwdriver maybe?
7 ?
8 ds is now flashed

*can someone also point me in the right direction of where to get the files for step 3? ive seen people say dont go here or dont go there its all bricks and trojans, and on diffrent forums they say difrerent places not to go...

after flashing, is it just a matter of putting whatever i want on the sd card, putting the sd card in the sc, and the sc in the ds and playing. or are there more steps involved?

can a flashed ds play a real mario kart? i've read that real mario karts screw with the place the ds firmware goes...

and last question, where can i get a passme2 for cheap? ive seen $20 on dspassme.com, but has anyone seen cheaper?
