Hi - Please bear with me as I'm new to the DS scene.
So, I'm sure I've missed the point (or indeed points), but why go to all the effort of getting your PC & DS set up so that they can contect wirelessly? Please enlighten me. Surely you can't load the CF card in the Supercard wirelessly...
Also, do you need to have Flashme installed if you're using a PassMe.
I hope I haven't asked any REALLY stupid questions, so just in case, I'll go and put my flame suit on.  OK, I'm ready.

Well for once you dont need to have a Passme/2 to run the Flashme code.  :)

Here is everything explained:

You don't need flashme installed to use pass me.

A lot of people used wifi me just to install flashme. Other used it to boot up games from their supercard each time... but that seems like a lot of work when you could just install flashme one time. Saves on the warranty though I guess.

So it's mainly used to just bypass using passme for installing flashme - seems like a lot of work & expenditure to do just that.  And why can't you use the wifime connection to download files from your PC onto the CF/supercard?

You can also use it to broadcast official WMB demos that have been captured. These, for instance.

Because nobody has written a utility for that, and it would be far slower than manually switching the card between the DS and PC.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.
