Dear all, I have a problem when convert any movie that film and sound are not play together. The film always play faster than sound... Can some one please kindly help me to solve this problem. Thanks a lot (^-^)

Hmmm.....I converted one movie, and it turned out fine.

Off hand, I'd guess that your source audio is a variable-rate stream, rather than a constant-rate stream.  If you can re-sample the audio, that may fix your problem.  Of course, if the audio is off a fixed amount through the entire film, you could offset the source to counteract the effect.

BTW, how is it off?  Is the audio delayed the same amount through the whole film, or does the gap gradually widen?  If it's the former, then there's likely a problem with the keyframes in your source.  If it's the latter, than it is most likely a bitrate issue.

Thanks for pointing me here.  The videos I am converting have the same issue, most of them being .avi or .wmv format.  Should I try converting these files to .mpeg before finally converting to a .gbs/.gbm?

The file I converted was an avi file.

If you don't have it, get VirtualDub or VirtualDubMod and try altering the delay for the audio track (use a negative number to make the audio play sooner).  You may also want to try extracting the audio into an uncompressed wave file, then compress it yourself using a CBR, if you have the means to do so.  Also, make sure you have the proper codecs on your system for your movie files (if you don't know what codecs you need or have, get GSpot and run your movie file through it).

Most of the time, problems like this are due to poorly encoded files.
