Can't get passme to work :(

I have the latest firmware (3 steps to upgrade from 1.43 whew).

So I downloaded the latest conversion software from the official site, and converted a rom, and put it on the CF card.

Problem? I insert Passme2 with Zookeeper, and I get the blank screen

I read on the web that those are all the steps I needed, latest software, patched rom, passkey2 with commercial game.

I tried the wifi route. Couldn't get it to work. Tried the short circuit route.. blank screens

Help?

You've got quite a few more steps to go. That's all you need for passme 1, passme 2 is a little more involved.

I tried doing that but I don't know how to get a Zookeeper dump and I don't have Metroid Prime Hunters Demo

I'm to the point of buying a Passme1 since I have an "old" DS

Ok here's what I did:

1. Downloaded the .GAB and .SAV files for zookeeper
2. renamed them to IQSRAM.gba and IQSRAM.sav
3. Put them in the CF card
4. Ran IQSRAM.gab on the NDS
5. Turned off / inserted Passkey2 / turned back on

blank screens

I even tried ABXY.

Sigh. Help? Please?

By the way, when I got the passkey2 I put Nintendogs Lab and Friends as the one to test... didn't know this could cause problems, I don't think I saw Zookeeper in the list... should the Passkey2 work with any cart provided you have the save or am I going to have to go buy Nintendogs Lab and Friends?

Nope. You have to use the game from the drop down list that you picked.

Sigh. Well I emailed the person of the site that I bought it from to see if I can send it back and get it reprogrammed... has to be cheaper than buying a game.

Why would you select a game for the PassME2 that you don't own?

Because none of the two I own are there

So I'm emailing him to see if he can do one of the two I own.

Since it said test, I just chose whatever because I just thought he was offering to test it, I didn't know it wouldn't work with any other game.

BOOYAH! Not only did I get it to work with the Passkey, I flashed it !

Ended up buying Nintendogs Lab Edition (the game I picked when I bought it) for ~$21.50 after tax ($10 off Best Buy coupon).

I'm one happy camper

The shorting took a while, finally got it to work with a wooden shiskabob stick and tinfoil.
