I was reading that these work on the master compatibility list, but I'm having some trouble. Can you guys who have them working give me the process of how I should be patching them? In Wario, the tilt patch works up to Kat & Ana, then it stops. In Yoshi I can't get it work at all.

1821 - Yoshi no Banyu Inryoku (J) has not been tested, and is therefore not listed as working in the Master Compatibility list.

As for 1703 - Mawaru Made in Wario (J), have you tried patching it different ways?  Try patching with these options selected:
  • "Enable Save"
    - Use the QPC method to save.
  • "Enable Save"
  • "Enable saver Patch"
  • "Enable Restart"
    - Save using LT + RT + SELECT + A method.
  • No options enabled
    - If the other patching methods fail, try this to see if you can play past the area the game stops working at.  If you can, you know that it is the save patching causing the problem.  If you can't, then no patching combination will allow you to continue your game.
Also, ensure that your ROMs are valid and not corrupt or overdumped.  Use GBA-Renamer to first identify your dumps, then GoodGBA and GoodGUI to verify them.

No luck at all. I tried to patch in those various ways, and with no patching at all. Actually I was referring to the IPS patch, like if I should apply the IPS patch before or after SC patching it. Anyways I tried both ways and still couldn't get it to work. I tried using my old .sav to see if it was working, then after that failed, I tried playing back up to the Kat & Ana stage again, but it was still the same problem. I'm trying to get some other ROMs of the game off *******, dunno if they are different or the same as the one I have, then I'll try patching again.

Oh yeah I misread about Yoshi. Oops :(

Please do not discuss where to get ROMs - NTolerance

Diablo

If you're patching them with translation patches, then I would do so during the conversion process:  there is an option to patch with an IPS file in the Supercard software.

Patching beforehand may work, as the dat for the Supercard does not include the game yet, so the software will not recognize the ROM anyway.  Patching afterwards will definitely not work, as the patch is designed for a pure ROM.

Sorry about the ROM thing NTolerance.

I was looking at my SC software and I'm thinking I have an older version or something cuz I don't see that IPS patching option. I have v2.20. Is that the newest? I got it from http://supercard.mine.nu/download/.

Just to be clear here's a SS of what my Options tab looks like:

BTW it's not a translation patch, it's a tilt patch to make the left and right part of the d-pad act like function like the tilt sensor.

Refer to this topic to see how to select additional patching options.

I'M SO STUPID.. On Kat & Ana's stage you're not supposed to use the tilt at all. All I had to do was use the A button!!

And afterall, the ROM & IPS patch was working perfectly fine the whole time, from the very first ROM I patched with the SC software. Thanks for the help, though, especially about all those patching options that I didn't know about.
