ANY IDEAS ON WHY MY SD CARD STICK OUT OF THE END OF MY SUPER CARD SD?
JUST BOUGHT IT AND NEW SD CARD 128MB AND THE SD CARD WILL NOT FIT IN THE ADAPTER - THEREFORE THE CARTRIDGE WILL NOT FIT IN MY NEW GBA MICRO, THE SD CARD CATCHES ON THE SIDE.

rocky

How can it not fit?
are you sure its SD?
did you try pushing hard?
Do you have other SD card that fit?
your SC might be defected.

STOP YELLING AT US!  All caps are *really* annoying.

you should hear a *click* when you insert your SD card similar to the one you hear when you insert a DS game in the DS slot.

Koji

The only possibility is you got an oversized SD card. I'd return it and complain to whoever you bought it from until they allow you to exchange it for a non-sucky model.

sneef

maybe it's a memory stick duo.

just kidding...  like k2000 said, you should hear/feel a click when you push the SD card in.  make sure its facing up (label facing the same way as the supercard label) and push until you hear/feel a click.  If it wont go in far enough to click, maybe the spring mechanism in your supercard is caught in the wrong position.

Just to clear some doubts, could you post pictures of you SD card inside and outside your supercard?

It sounds more like a SanDisk MM pro card wrather than a SD card... remember SanDisks logo is a SD - but it doesnt mean its an SD card. (I have had someone show me a pic of one of these before, and it says SD with the D looking a little odd, because its the SanDisk logo wrather than a SD card)

carlb007

yep, def not a SD card. the size is standardised.

you dont see a CD thats an inch wider than normal ones do you?
isit DS-play.com for live chat, friend code exchange, tournaments and forums on all wifi enabled games.

Like Koji said, it could be a manufacturing defect, with his particular card in question.  I've heard about PSP users having the same problem with the MS Duo.

onarum

nah, he's prolly just to stupid to figure how to insert it right.
SC CF + 1GB Kingston CF + flashed NDS = a whole lot of fun.

Actually, while I was looking into how SD cards work a couple days ago I ran into a variation of the SD card - the SDUltra which is about 1 1/2 times the lenght of a standard SD card... could be he has one of these too.
