Hello, i got my card awhile ago. but i was sceptic. But in the end, i decided to buy a compact flash. And it also ment some testing. So i tried out my supercard linked to an empty gba, and here i need some help. For example, pocketnes starts loading the information, to a point where the whole screen has been filled with the neat code it displays. Afterwards the screen goes blank. And World Championship Poker does the same, it loads the information nicely, but when it's time to initiate the gaming-part it crashes.

I tried playing with my friend who had a retail-version of Zelda: four swords european version. So i downloaded Zelda: four swords, and we initiated a link-session. And to my big surprise it actually multiplayed. So we had a nice gaming-session.

So, my question is, how do i get Single-pak working?

Yes, i know. But i believe it's supercard-specific. It doesnt matter what singlepak-game i load, the other gameboy will turn white once loaded. So when gaming is initiated the game crashes. But i can multiplay with someone who has the same game, either flash-card or retail.

well i think i should mention that there is a "main" port and there is the other port in every gba link cable. the person who is the host in a multiboot game, should have the "main" port on their gba link or else linking will not work. In the official Nintendo link cable, the purple one is the main port and grey one is the other port. If it doesnt work, just try switching the link cable around to see if it will work

thanks a lot for testing man!!!!
sorry that I can't help :( I only have a DS and GBA.... which I can't connect them together whatsoever!!!!

So far I have tested a few multiplayer games using two supercards and having the same rom on each. Compression was used, which did cause a little slowdown on a couple of games. But they seemed to work fine.  However, I too am struggling getting single pack to work. (To be fair, I have only been using Mario Kart!) But I think it may be down to the compression used by the supercard. Perhaps if you place the game onto the supercard without compressing it, you will have more luck?? Just a suggestion, I haven't tested it yet.

As soon as I get a few games tested, I will create a full report list and post that up. Dont expect it for a few weeks though!!  :D

But if anyone can help in my Pokemon Colosseum topic, I would be very grateful. Cheers!!
AM THE OEN!! OOOPS, MAYBE NOT!!

I've been trying to find someone that has another GBA that I can try it on together.... to me, I would think that single pak has the greatest chance of working =\
when I'm done with all the homework from this week.... I might try it out on F-zero or something with my friend :)

Ok just got my supercard and so far only tried mariokart with one gba with orignal game and one gbasp with the supercard.  And.................... It worked perfectly except for the slowdowns supercard has with mariokart.

Ok now I also tried Street fighter Alpha 3 with one real kart and one super card and it worked perfectly also.  I have more games to try so I'll try to make a list later.  Basicly so far for me supercard has full multiplayer support.

plflorence

would you mind trying mario kart with one supercard only as well? :P

takuma

what do you mean? Are you talking about with the multiboot function or with two supercards.  I cant try 2 supercards yet until my bro gets his.  I'll try the multiboot in alittle.

yeah that's what I meant, coz I thought it would actually make sense that it supercard should work with multiboot function......
thanks a lot man!

*edit*
oh hey diablo thanks for answering for me

So has anyone has the list yet?  I been wanting to own one just to play multiplayer with others.  Also can some test out nes games, like teenage mutant ninja turtles 2: the arcade game, please.  I own the GBAMP, and I could only play homebrew gba games that are 192k and under, same goes with the nes games.
