Hi everybody ! I'm have a DS and i want to check my DS firmware ( to hack Firmware by Super Pass ) . How to check firmware is new or old ? My DS is sliver . Thanks

There is no reliable way to check. Serial numbers have been very hit and miss (though there is a website tracking them somewhere).

Color has nothing to do with the firmware either. When did you purchase your DS? If you bought your DS before september-october you almost assuredly have an old DS firmware. If you have one you bought after october, chances are you have a new firmware version.

If you are really worried, get a passme 2 since it works both on the old and new firmwared DSes.

I've said this a few times already but just check the manual.

If there is a -1 or -2 suffix on the top right corner of the DS manual, it has new firmware.
