Hi, i just got my supercard and everything works great except for Gameboy Color Games. When i try to load the Zelda Oracle Games i only get a Black and white screen that displays: "this game require Gameboy Color" As the game think that i am using a old black and white gameboy unit...
Anyone else got the same problem?

There isn't a gbc emulator out for GBA. No flashcard can play gbc games. If you get goomba you can play the gbc games that ARE NOT "for gameboy color only" label on them.

GBC and GB games are played on the Supercard using the emulator Goomba.  If you refer to the documentation for Goomba, you will see that the emulator is designed mainly for GB games, and, therefore, only supports GBC games that are mono-compatible.

For a list of compatible games, check out the official Goomba site

Anyone know if there is plans for a GBC emulator that will run the color only games?

Diablo

No.

The only way to play GBC ROMs using a GBA flash cart is to use a device known as a GB Bridge.  However, the GB Bridge is only compatible with two flash carts, and is nearly impossible to find.

Its still strange though... It seems that it would be easier to emulate GBC than for example SNES which is under development...

Why worry about it when there's already devices out there that allow you to play GBC ROMs on a GBA (namely GBC flash carts)?

There's no SNES flash cart that can work in the GBA, nor has there been a portable SNES (in production).  That's why development for a SNES emulator trumps development for a GBC emulator.

Besides, it's more difficult than you think.  GBC games ran at higher voltages than GBA games, and would require an additional battery in the flash cart to operate.  You'd also need something to physically switch the GBC switch in the GBA's slot so that the flash cart and GBA know when to run in GBC or GBA mode.  It couldn't be a stationary fix either, like the GBC carts had, because that would engage GBC mode all the time.

So I guess there is no hope for a gbc emulator?

Thats a shame i really wanted to play the zelda games.
