Some one did a animal Crossing trainer..

but do not wor for rom.. becouse it need a origial cart.. but if someone hack it.. to make read/write to CF  may work properly!

humm, this trainer have what I'm looking for, to get saved games from nds carts...
Onyx DS with R4 and SC lite, 2x1g kingston
Ice blue DS with R4
Gray phat DS with SCSD and 512M

sneef

should work with any DS cart that has a 2mbit save.. in theory..  but someone said they couldn't transfer their save to the original AC cart via RAIN, so perhaps there will be problems with this

sneef

in a way, a trainer on a community-style wifi game is kind of bad though.. i mean, it takes some of the fun out of it.  then again, ALL cheats and trainers take some of the fun out of games!

It appears it may have been because I was using the 0.4 version of Rain, hacked to have SCSD support... I have 0.8 now, and I used it to back up my save. Then I used the trainer, and used the "rare items" function. I did not lose my save again. They don't do much, and they don't appear in the catalog, but the Mario items are definitely neat. (The brick block and ? block function as tables, but the ? block doesn't make its sound if there is something on it.)

Short version: The trainer works, but only with the real game. Maybe the writer will come out with a version to directly hack .sav files like he did for the Nintendogs trainer.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

but as long as an Animal Crossing save is uploaded to an original DS cart, and that DS cart is in the slot, wouldn't the trainer work on that save?  I don't see why you would need animal crossing in particular, unless it has some unique save size (which it doesn't).

I realy want it becouse the mario Itens..

thats the itens Nintengo Gives im promos!

Koji

This is definitely a GBA app used to alter the saves of a real game.

For people looking for ways to pull saves from their carts... it's called RAIN. It's been out for months <_<

No, it's a DS app meant to be run from a GBA flashcart with Animal Crossing WW in the DS slot. Think of it as one of those "+5" or "+12" trainers for older ROMs that happens to only work on an actual game.

I suspect it checks to see if the game on the card is actually Animal Crossing, not just the save.

After a bit of investigating because i was bored i found out that you can use a 2mbit game that isnt ACWW like mario kart to use the trainer on. Get your ACWW sav file and flash it to the 2mbit cart using rain, run the trainer, apply whatever cheats you want, flash back off. I dont know if the flashing back off works because i didnt really want to cheat, so if someone can confirm that you can flash back off this would prove that you dont need a ACWW cartridge for this trainer to work

sneef

that is exactly what i was saying.  It should behave just like the original nintendogs trainer did (you could have your dog on a madden '05 cart, and use the trainer to alter the save).

It appears there is indeed a Windows version in the works. Just wait for it.

why would i wait for a windows version?  :?: I'm talking about having my AC save on a madden cart (or nintendogs cart) and using the trainer to edit the save on the cart..   nothing to do with windows.
