I want to get some tips on another saving problem, this one more specific so I figured I'd put it here.

What are the best settings to use for Super Mario Advance 4 (1.1) US in order to allow it to be playable and save, or at minimum real time save?

When I enable more saver, I get a control glitch when I make it to the actual map and it thinks that there is a basic save, which there isn't. When I disable the "more saver", it just locks at saying that my save data is corrupted.

Based on what I have read about the chip (the 1 megabit flash), real time saving may be more likely then traditional saving.

I'm using a SC SD, latest patcher, latest firmware, on a Game Boy Micro (import if it matters).

Thanks!

P.S. - If anyone can create a 128 kilobyte dummy save ... could that be a fix?

Extra edit ... the more reading I do, it's a very universal problem. I wonder if with the flexibility it seems like ROMMAN has built into the SC that a hardware fix could come down the line for the SC
