will there ever be a time in the future when the supercard will have a firmware upgrade to make it fat32 compatible?

or is there hardware limitations which is stopping this from ever happening?

Unless you use a card over 2GB there really isn't much advantage in using FAT32.

Well, I am just guessing that Fat32 is only a firmware limitation, and will come down the road.

You can get 2GB and even 4GB cards working in Fat16, so I don't see what the dire need for Fat32 support is at this point. Cards any larger than that are a fortune at this point. I have a 2GB personally, and it is more than enough space for me. Don;t think you'll ever get a big enough card to fit every DS rom on :)

Well...there's also the inefficiency of FAT16 with the sector sizes required for a 2GB partition to take into account...
