I just updated to the new 1.54 firmware and everything was running smoothly. So, when I get up this morning to see what new accessories the Able Sisters were selling (Animal Crossing) I got the error. I've reformatted my CF and everything but I keep getting this error. I booted in GBA mode to test the SC, and everything was ok but the CF. Does this mean my CF card is dead? If so, why does it still work with my computer and not my SC?  :?

I have the same problm with my 1GB SD card.  Since upgrading to 1.54, I am getting "Not find the SD" and when I put the SD back in my PC it cannot read it, cannot format it, not even a digital camera will format it, its screwed.

I guess it may just be coincidence but I find it suspiscious that the only other cases I know of this happening, happen just after upgrading to 1.54.  Hmmmm.

You haven't been around long. We get reports of this every firmware upgrade...

You are formatting it FAT and not FAT32 under Windows, correct?

Yeah, it was upgraded via true GBA. I also used FAT when I formatted my card. I hope this error is recoverable......

I have the same problem here.
I got 2 white screens or "cannot find the CF" when turning on my DS.
Still sometimes it's working...

What could be the problem ?
Supercard was upgraded via TRUE GBA MODE and there's 24% of memory space free on my CF.
I'll try to format it, but it's really annoying.

edit: I've tried format and downgrade supercard to 1.53 or 1.52, and I still have "cannot find the CF". I've cleaned Supercard and GBA slot.
My CF works fine on my PC so I can't figure out what's happening...

I've got the same problem too.   I had mostly two white screens or sometimes it WAS working. Now there are only two white screens. It all happened after this upgrade. Of course upgrade was made in GBA mode.

I looked over other forums.
Some people seems to had this problem before 1.54 upgrade.

I come to think it's the SC that is defectuous, since even without CF card on it I got 2 white screens or a bugged screen...

Well my screens are not buggy looking. Been doing more testing. I did the SC function test without the CF in the slot, everything (sram, sdram, and flash id) said ok....but the CF test had and error, probably because there wasn't one in the slot. Then I did the test again with the CF and everthing came back ok except the CF, but it had a different error than it was without the CF. So, I'm thinking that the card is detecting that something is plugged in it.

How do you run the SC function test ?

My screens are no longer bugged.
Now I don't even get the super card to start with or without CF in it.

There's just two white screens now, whatever I do.

For the function test, you start your DS normally.....then you select start GBA game....then hold L and R while it boots up. The SC will then perform tests on itself.

Now I've got SRAM and SDRAM error.

While typing this I get Flash error...

edit: and so on.
Sometimes I got nothing, not even the test mode. Sometimes I get everything ok, sometimes not.
Sometimes it says "now SC Version : 2" and sometumes "now SC Version : 1.54"
