is there any difference with the fimware upgrades for cf card and sd cards?

i have noticed that there are upgrades for the sd card in the downloads section and upgrades for the cf card for the firmware

are they the same or are they different??

CF is for CF cards... SD are for SD cards.

The features are the same... but the actual mechanisms that drive the CF supercard and SD supercard are very different, that's why they require different firmware.

ok thanks alot i was just checking to make sure

as i am waiting for my sd super card to arrive i flashed my ds with a cf supercard and upgraded the firmware with the cf version firmware

so looks like i will have to re-do the firmware for my new sd supercard
