Has anybody gone through the trouble of making a homebrew app that will allow you to wifi hack a DS with another pre-hacked DS?

Kind of like wifime, but for the DS instead of a PC.  I've done a little looking, but couldn't find anybody who had done this, or knew of a way.

It's times like this i wish i was a programmer.  It seems like this could be a terribly useful tool for flashing up new DSs in a quick and easy way.

Koji

It should be possible, but it would only work on the original model DSes unless someone finds a new hack that works on the new firmware.

Basically, you'd just have to port "wifi me" to DS. I actually wondered a similar thing not too long ago.

I think the main thing is that the nintendo wifi hasn't been completely hacked (even now it's not completely and definitely what is done isn't very easy to access yet)

Is that entirely certain? We know we can't use wifiMe to directly send code from the PC to a new firmware DS. However, if you work through another DS, isn't the DS taking care of authentication?

Not really. The code has to be authenticated, not just the wireless signal.

And I'm fairly sure you can still broadcast official downloadable demos from wifi to an unflashed new firmware DS.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.
