I was just wondering whether it's possible for me to grab a normal DS game, back up the save file as a .SAV to my supercard and copy it to my PC, then later on, put it on my supercard and restore it to the original cart.
hat's a government pig!

yes there is someway to get the saves from the ds carts, it was in one of the forums about a week ago or so on how to do it.

Yeah, it's a program called Rain. Search the forum for it.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

Yes, that is the program. I think the program is confusing though.  Go here

Just grab the version here and copy it to your CF or SD card.  Then run it from the Supercard in DS mode and follow the menus.  It's really easy to use.

Oh, neat. 0.9 can manage the saves on M3 cards in its DAT format.

Any version is good, but you need to put a loader on it.

Here, use this: [link]

That's Rain 0.9 with a loader attached, and it should work fine. (I'm still using 0.8 and it can backup and restore ACWW saves perfectly.)

Is the loader in the .nds file because that was the only file that was there.

I don't see how anyone can find RAIN Confusing... "Backup EEPROM to CF card" and "Restore Save to EEPROM" <_< Doesn't sound confusing to me.

If you look at the screen of the new version over there, it now says "save file" instead of "CF card" since it now works with SD.

When I downloaded rain there was a bunch of files,  I wasn't sure what they all were for.  That is what confused me
