Can Superpass work with other Flash Carts?

Sir Spanky

EDIT: Nevermind I fixed my problem of not being able to play games.

All I need to know now, is how to save them. I think the save is only stored on the SRAM, and is lost every time I turn off the DS...

Sir Spanky

I'm using EFA (Extreme Flash Advanced - www.efa.cc) and the DS games are working fine. I just can't get any saves working.

I read the tutorial here:
http://supercard.blogspot.com/2005/09/patching-tutorial.html

That was quite useful, but step seven I didn't understand.

QuoteNo 7- If you succeeded in loading the ds rom play it as usual, but then the saves will be redirected to the SRAM, so you have to quickly turn ON and OFF the DS, boot in DS mode, and save the SRAM to the gba.sav file.

How do I boot in DS mode and what help will turning it ON and OFF do? It also suggests on the previous step to rename any old GBA save to the same name as the DS save I want, but it doesn't say what to do with it....

Thanks again,

Spanky

Step 7 only applies to supercard users. You aren't using a supercard, so it doesn't apply to you. To save to EFA, you'd need some sort of patching program that allows you patch to GBA flash. Either that, or you'll have to get a DS game with each save type (8kb, 64kb, and 2mb) and make your saves to those game carts.
