My Supercard was giving this error from time to time and I would pop it out and back in again, now it just does it all the time.... I haven't upgrdaed the firmware recently, it worked last night now it is dead...

The error is... "Write protect lock, Please turn off GBA"

I get the same error accessing the card in NDS (flashme) mode or in GBA mode... All my normal DS and GBA games work fine as does my XG2Turbo...

I just want to be sure this means the Supercard has died at only 6 months old :-( and should I order another, or is it something wrong with my DS/flashme and therefore I am wasting my money ordering another???

OK kinda solved / kinda not...

The SD card lock switch was in off position, but just to make sure I switched it to locked and back to unlocked... It then works a couple of times and then does the same thing, procedure repeated and the same deal.... weird... never has problems in my PC though read/writes every time... I guess I will live with it for the time being??

thats one weird problem i havent  experienced it with any of my sd cards as to yet though i dont right protect them  as there being no point.

best to try another sd card and see if its the card that is  messed up or the supercard but i doubt its the supercard.  as one of your friends who has a digicam to lend you their   sd card if they have one to  try it with.

Your probably very slightly moving the toggle switch when putting it in the supercard.

I doubt it was me, it just did it again then and the SD card hadn't left the supercard.. so I took it out did my switched back and forth and its OK again... seems to be every 4-5 boots it does it?

Ohh well, I might try another SD card and see if it happens, maybe the switch is loose or something in this card, it feels OK but maybe something I can't see.....
