Hy All,

Ive finally finished converting my GBA roms and setting up a file structure that works :) . Now Im moving on to Nes. Ive heard that NES Roms dont need to be run through the patcher program, but do I need to install an emu for nes? If So how/where does it get installed/files need to be? Also I understand that while the roms dont get patched ,  they need to have a save file created for them. Is there any handy app for creating these for large fileists? Or do they need to be done one at a time  . Im assuming that the steps for NES will apply to Sega GG/Mastersystem roms. Im a die hard retro fan and these systems were very important to me in buying the Supercard. Any answers from someone whos already set this up would be extreemly appreciated.

Thanx,

I just put .nes roms into alphabetic folders on my cf card. It uses pocketnes emu so if you press l+r in game you get all the options.

Works for me. :)

Thanx,
you do not need an emulater, there is one built into the SC.  Also you do not have to patch them, and they go onto your flash card like your gba roms.  Goto  C:  program files then choose the SC folder.  You will see a nes.sav file and a   .sav file, use those  for a save file for your other systems.  just name them whatever game they are for .sav         Example  for      Zelda.nes   file use        Zelda.sav

I personally do not use the SC built in emulators, because many are outdated. I compile my own using the tools provided in whatever emulator I download. I compiled a collection of NES games (mostly USA titles, aside from Devil World) into a few GBA files. Each contains about 150 roms, all selectable after load from the emulator's menu. I prefer this much more than copying them to the SC directly. If you do make compilations, just be sure you don't go over the 32mb limit on each file, or you'll get white screens because of the fact that you overstepped the memory limit.

Thanx for the great input. NES SMS are all up and functioning now. Just A little shocked at how clean the nes roms look on the smaller screen. Still working on Goomba for the GB---man do I miss that handheld, I musta had 30-40 carts and the games ruled~I digress :D

Thanx, All
