Anyone ever used these?

I like this one especially:

m2pt5

I have a silver ("platinum") DS with this skin on it. (Well, most of that skin. Some of the smaller pieces have come off in the year I've had it on there.)
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

Dekamaster

I tried to get one from decalgirl but they wouldn't use the design I made since it had pictures of copyrighted characters (if it was just for me I dunno why that would matter)

I think you answered your own question there.

how exactly do they stick on? do they need a bit of moisture to help bind or anything?

the reason your fell off is because you bought the crapy skins, you must buy the vinal or whatever the strechy ones are. my brother bought the same one as you and his is also falling off, if you guys get one buy from decalgirl their the best skin makers I bought one and I think its the best qualiy skin Ive ever owned (I own 5 different skins for different systems). the vinal skins are very easy to remove and they dont leave any residue on the system but p2pt5 your will after a couple years.

m2pt5

FYI that IS a vinyl skin. The reason some parts fell off is from use, not because it's crappy or cheap.

oh okay because I have one that looks like that and it sucks, you have to get the ones  that are strechy not the ones that are like stickers and rip.

m2pt5

The one I have is stretchy.

Some of the smaller parts came loose at the ends, so I peeled them the rest of the way off.
