Anybody else got problems with freezing video at certain points in a given file?

I did, but I fixed it (I don't really know what I did).

I started with a problem of the TMPGENc not encoding the last 3-4 minutes of a video, and I just spent hours upon hours trying many different solutions.  After one worked, my videos would freeze 30 seconds or so in, but like I said, I somehow fixed it without knowing what I was doing.

For dudu, the CF build with menumod. Someone test it and make sure I didnt break accessing the CF.

OK, I put one together, but its untested. In my SuperCard SD, all I get is "Card not inserted or error 0" - It should work with M3/SC CF though. Let me know if it doesnt work like the origional but with the menumod in the init file.

Props to cidtrips for the mod btw! (hopefully Im not remebering the wrong nick... pls forgive me if I am)

Thanks one  Between my server (for the small stuff at any rate) and the one ratx is letting me use they should get out OK. Mirrors are always welcome, though, gives people more places to get it from if one goes down  :wink:

Finally got around to messing with the latest moonshell. I'm quite impressed, there was a noticable jump in the playability of videos. I need to update my guide. -goes to do so-

Odd. The menumod version works, but it exhibits the same crackely OGG sound that was in 0.7. This is odd because the official 0.8 release (link at beginning of this thread) works perfectly with OGG files.

Also, I never heard of this menumod? All I really see is that the about box and help box are gone. Is that all there is to it?

No nothing does that. And again, that's somethign you wouldn't really want to do till someone adds DSI and DSQ support to moonshell for supercard users.

All menumod does is add some variables to the ini file so you can reposition your windows wrather than making them stay where they were set by default.

The ogg thing makes me wonder, because to make this version all I did was change 3 files which have nothing to do with the filesystem/access or ogg even (I re-extracted the official source before I re-built it with menumod in). Could be Im off with the lib version or something, or the root makefile that Moon has forgotten to put in most of the releases has something new that Im not aware of.

My ogg files are amazing in the MenuMod version.. no crac sounds at all.. and my  ogg are in qualit zero.. ( allmost mp3 audio with a very small size )
