I see the serial number on the back of your DS is starting to peel off too.  The same happened to mine, and I completely peeled it off.  Now, my serial number is completely rubbed out because of it.

You can remove the passme and replace it with a cart, after it loads into the Supercard DS mode.  Be warned: repeatedly removing and inserting the flashme device will damage the spring-eject mechanism on the DS, as happened with one my DS's.

Anyway people that wasnt my DS, i found it off the internet >_<
But my DS isn't flashed anyway, and i have a 512 MB CF Card. :-)
And I have a question: If i ALWAYS leave my Superpass in my DS Card Slot, and I mean ALWAYS(as in i never have taken it out since I put it in), will the DS Slot mess up? I don't want to flash my DS, but I also don't want to not be able to play DS Games.

how mch do you take yours out then?

when i buy a superpass do i literally JUST put it in with a game in and run from my supercard?

thanks

Supercard DS mode is the menu you will see automatically after booting the DS up with the Superpass device inserted, in order to run NDS roms.

Supercard GBA mode is when you select the GBA icon from the DS main menu after booting up, without the Superpass device inserted.

Both the Supercard and Superpass are made from rough plastic, which can damage the DS physically when repeatedly inserting and removing.  The Supercard does not fit smoothly into the DS.  You have to physically force it in the GBA slot.  This just scrapes the sides of the GBA slot, nothing more.

The Superpass however, will have you to force the device into the GBA slot, which has a spring mechanism.  If you repeatedly remove and insert the device, it can and will damage the spring.

With one of my spring damaged DS's, when I insert a DS cart, it just springs back out again.  I can still use the Superpass, as it pretty much jams itself into the slot.  I could probably try to fix it myself by opening up the DS - a lot of hassle.

Quotedoes the game stick out alot or just a bit (i mean the superpass and the game)?

if its not advised to keep taking the superpass out, can you run the nds game with the superpass in it?

thanks

You can see by the pictures posted how much the devices stick out.

If you want to keep using the Superpass, its up to you.  You can permanently keep the Superpass inserted to run NDS games, no problem.

The Superpass makes the DS less portable.  If you need to take your DS somewhere, you will have to keep removing/inserting the Superpass anyway, otherwise you'll snap it off the DS.

I have been inseting/removing mine for 6 months several times a day, as long as you use the pull out 1mm push back in (hear a click) then pull out you will not damage your DS.

I dont want to risk flashing/bricking my DS, I killed a motherboard once with a failed bios upgrade, costly mistake.

I Flashed my ds the day after i got the appropriate equiptment - i don't really see it as risky,  i just followed the steps which had been clearly stated many times.

- download the latest flashme
- fully charge your ds
- take battery cover off and tape battery pack down (just to be safe)
- have ds plugged into wall
- collect a few items you might need to short out, i used a pin originally but it wouldn't short, so i then use a toothpick with al foil on it. when i pushed in it wouldn't short so i just let it sit in the hole and went to find something else and by the time i came back it was done.
- don't turn off your ds if it has gone past 1%, if it has started to short then stop, keep trying.

because it has that extra bit of protection i think it is safer than using the superpass all the time, the superpass with a game does stick out alot, and if u travel on the train like me it isn't safe.

so theres my inconsistent 2 cents i guess.
