Same here, it's the only oldschool system I still own.

It's great to see all the Amiga love in here.  I remember that after Commodore went bankrupt and I admitted defeat and bought a new PC, I was shocked at how primitive Windows 3.1 was compared to what my A1200 or even A500 had.  It couldn't even really multitask!  And the games looked 10 years behind the Amiga.

I'm guessing you Speccy fans are all from the UK?  I've been enjoying some of those old games through emulation, but I never knew anyone who had one back then.  Here, if you were lucky you had a C64, if you were unlucky, like me, you had a TI994/A...

I turned 31 today, and I might add that the radio button for 31+ was rather offensive ;)

Like many others, I am from the Old Skool....

I've been playing games for 25+ years.

Atari 2600
Microbee
C64
Amiga 500+
Amiga 1200
PC (Starting with a Pentium 100)
Playstation
Playstation 2
Gameboy Color
Gameboy Advance
Nintendo DS
And a lot of emulators (nes, snes, sms, speccy, etc....)

And probably a Revolution when it comes out (I'm very happy with the big N at the moment)

Why are there so many older players with DS's????
Its a testament to the fact that Nintendo have the right idea of fun over sparkly new graphics....

I'm 22.
I've been playing since I was about 3 or 4.
Had a pong machine.
Dad had an Apple II and an Atari 2600 and Grandpa had a Commadore 64, all of which I used often growing up.

Then we got the NES in 87 and the rest is a large videogame collection.

I'm 17, almost 18 (Yay! Legal Alcohol!)

I've played games since I was 4. Started with some hard games too, including one of the hardest. These were Super Mario Bros (NES) and Marble Madness (PC I think...)

Though I'm still quite young, I've still managed to play loads of older consoles like the Atari (Woo, Pong!!) Sinclaire Spectrum, Commodore 64 (Kickstart was the best game ever. Anyone else remember it?)

Megadrive - Sonic games, Gods, Flashback and Wonderboy in Monster World
SNES - Which was the first console I bought. Me and my Bro put our Christmas money together to get it whilst Mario Super Stars + World was still available
Gameboy - Super Mario Land, Tetris, Pokemon Blue
N64 - Goldeneye, Banjo Kazooie, Ocarina of Time
Gameboy Colour - Pikachu one! With Zelda and Pokemon
PSOne - FFVII, PoyPoy, Crash Bandicoot, Tomb Raider
GBA - Doom, Prince of Persia
PS2 - Chubby one first, but recently a Slimline one after the Motherboard-to-Power switch cable got messed up whilst trying to clean the lens  :?
XBox - Doom 3, and Vexx - One of the rare difficult platformers of todayNintendo DS (Go Ninty!) Mario 64DS, Polarium, Kirby,etc...

In my opinion Nintendo are the best so far, as their games are better at gameplay, which is much more important than graphics anyday. Hey, Dizzy on the Commodore was great!

Has anyone else noticed that it's true that "They don't make 'em like they used to"?
