Quote from: "chavaflyfree"But do I have to patch it or something? I can't get ds2key.nds to work on my SC SD!!! Am I the only one with this problem???
Once again, you should know by now you use the .nds.gba file and RENAME it io .nds It's basic Supercard knowledge.

Cyprien: Does it repeat just at any time? Or only when you are playing a full screen game or something?

If you do get this problem on full screen games (I had it happen a few times with zsnes) just raise the priority of DSkey to above normal. That should fix that problem.

I highly doubt it'll help if dskey is the only program open. It's odd though, I don't have any problem at all using it.

all the time when iam connected to the ds2key and i just have to press one button and it totaly freaks out and keeps repeating that button even if i press a other button.

It was already stated - you set the IP in the list of things (gateway, etc) to something other than your PC, and you set the IP where you can press buttons to that of your computer.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

When i use that method it doesnt work at all...
either that or somtimes it crashes and just freezes.

i give up, this just does not work for me, in the ini file the remote ip is that of your DS right? i set a IP for the ds on the config before conecting then on dest ip i set the one from my PC, but it does nothing, if i put the same iop from the DS on dest IP i get some respondes, so it is sending, but for some reason i can't get it to send to my PC.
SC CF + 1GB Kingston CF + flashed NDS = a whole lot of fun.

No. In the .bat file you set the IP address of your computer.

When you select an IP, you leave the ip address it sets automatically (192.168.1.189) unless something on your network is already using that address.

When you connect to your AP, then on your DS you set the IP address of your computer (It should be the same thing you put in the .bat file) then just press buttons on the DS and see if it works.

got it working, turns out it was the damn wep again :| ..., allways forget about turning it off, anyway the new version got rid of the bat, it has a .exe and .ini now, works like a charm indeed, played a bit of chrono trigger hehe, i still prefer my adapted n64 controler for snes games though.

For those of you having a Mac, I made a small perl script to control iTunes with DS2key.  I'll clean the code later, I release it now to see if others people than me are interested in this.

download link:
http://rapidshare.de/files/11868140/ds2key_itunes.pl.html

Just change the IP of your DS in the script (to send song info to the DS)

left-right control track
up-down control volume
a-b are play/pause
select show the song info on the ds screen
Onyx DS with R4 and SC lite, 2x1g kingston
Ice blue DS with R4
Gray phat DS with SCSD and 512M

does this work with usb wifi connector?

I can't be 100% sure, but my guess would be no. USB wifi adapters don't work like access points.
