Hi, I have a little problem with my SC CF, i received it yesterday,so i wanted to update it with the new 1.60 firmware but it didn't work, when i select the cf_160.bin file in both GBA and NDS mode, i get an error message witch says : "Data verify error, please turn off GBA".

I must precise that my NDS is the one who was sold within the Mario Kart Pack, altough, i tried to downgrade to the firmware 1.53 (previously 1.54) and now i can't update to 1.54 ! So i need you're help please !

Sorry for my bad english i'm a french guy ;)

your firmware file is corrupt, the supercard checks if the file is correct to avoid errors
download the update from a different location.

Redownload the firmware from the official site. It whas been running ungodly quick today, so you should have no problems. Also try to use a smaller memory card if possible. I heard reports of people not being able to flash using a large (512mb, 1gb+) card, so if this is your case, try using a 256mb or under. I have a 2GB, but I have a few 256MB cards laying around too...and these are what I always use to flash firmware.

I use a 16mb sd card to upgrade "they are real cheap. It is worth it to pick one up."  I have a 2G sd card that does not work for upgrading

I did the firmware update with 1GB Sandisk card, and it worked perfectly.
