That happened to me when I was using DHCP DNS and IP. It worked ok when I manually assigned an IP.

well, if you are trying to use this i assume you have a router os access point of some sort? and if you have then you your PC has a LAN adress( usually 192.168.xxx.xxx) to find out your current ip adress go to the command console(start>run>cmd) and type ipconfig, then you'll see your IP as well as the subnet mask and the gateway adress wich you'll also need, i think you should make your ip static, but it should work otherwise, now all you have to do is set the ips on the app exacly as they are on your pc, and is important that the ip you set for the DS is in the same network as your PC
ex: if you pc has a 192.168.0.xxx adress the IP you set for the DS HAS to be like 192.168.0.xxx if you use 192.168.1.xxx it wont work

the first IP that shows on the app config is the DS IP, then you have your gateway adress wich you'll fill wich the one you got from ipconfig, the subnet mask (same), and the server adress, wich is your PC IP adress

easy eh? anyway in the future when the wifi lib is more refined all this process will become far easyer.

edit: you shouldn't have to do anything in your router, since you'll be acessing from inside the LAN, but if you try to acess from WAN you'll have to foward the ports needed wich i don't know.
SC CF + 1GB Kingston CF + flashed NDS = a whole lot of fun.
