Well, I've downloaded goombacolor alpha4 and some gbc roms. I've compiled them and now everyone is .gba but when I start them with my DS and supercard CF they dont work. I only see some gliches and then a yellow screen. What can I do?

Snc

Nvm, I made it work ^^. I was too dunce to patch the roms before sending to the flashcard ^^

I have a similar problem with the emulator included in the firmware. After upgrading to 1.60 I get a yellow window with every .gb and .gg game I try, which worked fine before upgrading. From the configuration menu I learnt it's goomba alpha 3.

Any hints on how to make them work again? I don't see any options to patch them in the software and are supposed to be supported directly by copying them to my SD card.

Thanks in advance for your help,
eithel

The built-in GB emulator in 1.60 is Goomba(not color) v2.0

Koji

You have to download the goomba package, you have to use the software to merge the emu with all the games you want to play it with. Once you do that you have to put them through the supercard patcher BEFORE you put them on your CF/SD card.

is there a list with working games ?

No. It's still an early work in progress, despite that it has very high compatibility. Just try a few games, and I think you'll see more games work by far then not work.

Weird, I had a gbc.gba file created from goomba in the same folder as the .gb ROMS and whenever I chose a .gb file, gbc.gba was launched instead.

After moving the file everything is back is order and v2.0 launches correctly associated with .gb files...

I will leave this info here just for reference.

Thanks for your response!

I ran a couple gbc roms through the Goomba color front end.  But for some reason, the SC patcher won't patch them.  "Failed" comes up in the patched column.  Same thing happens with snes.  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.  I've got v2.51 for CF.

Under the "patch" column it says fail?

That patch refers ONLY to save patching. If a game or homebrew doesn't require s-ram patching, it will say "fail".

Man, do I feel like an idiot.  Thanks, Koji

Just tried some roms, YES it works. (Well, some of them.)  Do you do the same thing for snesadvance and zxadvance?

If the homebrew doesn't work, then yes, chances are you need to patch it first (yes, snesadvance requires it too I believe)
