did you guys have to convert the file any? hen i try to run the file from the zip file i just get 2 black screens

I took the .ds.gba file and put it on my flash card after renaming it to .nds it worked fine no patching.

I did run into a problem after using it though. I tried to run Mario Kart and it would not connect to the AP. I turned off AP mode on my PC and then turned it back on and it connected to mario kart fine. I am using a NIC to act as an AP.

Thanks mate , that got it working.

Now im total noob when it comes to wifi. I have a laptop here that has a WLAN mini usb wifi device built into , can i use this to connect to the NDS?
Or do i need to have a proper wifi router?

If it can work , how do i set it up?

Necromancy! Cool to know it's been updated though. I hope this new one supports WEP, as I've just got a router that supports it and I enjoy knowing my transmission *might* not be intercepted as easily.
