UPDATED: http://digitalatrocity.com/DS/Win2DS.zip

Places to discuss: GBA Dev

Requirements: Wireless home network (like a wireless router) WITHOUT WEP

Run the program for the computer and it minimizes to system tray, set up the DS and use the touch screen to control your mouse. This works more like a tablet than a touchpad, so if you touch the upperleft of the touchscreen, your mouse will move to the upper left. Touch the middle, you mouse jumps to the middle. Move your stylus from bottom right to bottom left, your mouse moves from bottom right to bottom left. L is left click, and UP is right click. Enjoy.

NOTE: If you don't know all the info it asks for, go to where your connections are (Control Panel>Network Connections) and double click Local Area Connection, go to Support tab. That has all the info you'll need.

I'm hoping they'll merge this with the wireless controller app.

Most likely they will, since they are opposite programs of each other. XD

There's also the VNC-server like homebrew out too~

Win2DS seems to be updated: http://digitalatrocity.com/DS/Win2DS.zip

It now has password protection, a keyboard input for settings, and an autoupdating image of your desktop on the bottom screen so you can see what you're moving your mouse over, and a keyboard as well.

Strange, I only been able to connect once, but other than that one time, I been getting "Client timed out" messages on the server side. :\

what's the password about?? is that my WEP password??
or the password i have to type in manually in the server program??

or are both the server and client software passwords my WEP password??
it's a little unclear.

An by the way ,is it even possible to use this app when i have WEP turned on? (i really like the feature of this app, but WEP is really something i'm not about to turn off....  Or would MAC Acces control be enough for my little home network..??)

It says right in my first post WEP is not supported, meaning it's not supported, not on the DS, and not as the password on the server side. That's just to prevent someone from walking up with another homebrew DS and taking control.

OWWWWWWWWWW SHI#T GOOD WORK!! FANTASTIC APP!!
I have my network secured thru acces control with MAC address...

Is this enough for a standard network...? I not live in the middle of the city.. so there are not many around here that use wifi...

seems it is good enough secured.. isn't it?

I thin kMAC filtering is better than WEP. WEP is easliy cracked (it's only a matter of time before a WEP cracker makes it's way to the DS. MAC address is more protecting.

Not really, it's pretty easy to MAC address spoofing. It may be a bit better at keeping people from accessing your network, but without encryption anyone with a wifi device can "pick up" data you send. So if you are doing anything private and it's not encrypted, your neighbor can see what it is your doing.

Has anyone had problems connecting? I have the old one working perfectly but this new one it just seems to sit at the waiting screen. I am olmost positive I have all the settings right because I can use the old one and it works.
