Hi,

I want to set up my PC so that I can connect to DS WIFI.

My PC currently isnt wifi enabled.

Can anyone tell me what I need to set this up.

Like which wifi card to buy or is it a wifi kit?

You have 2 options:
Get a wireless router or get the NDS Wi-fi adapter. The first one enables you to connect any device to the network, like laptops, etc. The second one only works with NDS and you must have the computer turned on to connect, but it's cheaper.

You also have a third option.
Get a pci wifi card that comes with access point software.
I got a gigabyte pci wifi card that comes with softap.

Its easy to set up and cost £16 in uk pounds.

I really like the look of that £16 option. In fact I want one.

The only thing is that the thread you posted is titled :

Transform your RT2500/RT2560 card into a AP

I dont think I have an RT255/RT2560 does this matter?

Can I just buy one of these, plug it in and connect to wifi?

Get a RT2500-RT2560 PCI card.  I bought a LinkSys WMP54G v4 PCI card.

Name brands that use RT2500-RT2560 chipset . . .

Hello Everybody,

I'm going to get an asus WL-167g. It only costs 25 Euros and the original from Nintendo 40 Euros. Only... The link for the software is not working anymore (in the .doc file)  Where can I download the correct driver with the AP functionallity?
