Updating Firmware Problem

When i open the bin file on my SC CF, it says "wait verifying data" and after a second or two it says "verify data error! please turn off GBA".

I have the latest patcher, and I had the latest kernel firmware for my SC. I didn't run it through the patcher or anything like that, and I downloaded v1.60 from this website in the downloads section.

What am I doing wrong?

You sure your d/l the CF version and not the SD version?

Be sure to upgrade your SC in GBA mode.

you got yourself a corrupt update file.
doesn't matter where it went wrong it's corrupt now.

try downloading it again then reformatting your CF card and putting the upgrade as the only thing on it in the root of the card.
