Thankfully, I can play ACWW again

. I upgraded flashme to v6, and firmware/patch software to 1.6/2.51. Repatched the game and I can connect again. No need to start over.

it was a close one, but we won again. Let's hope it keeps working long enough until I can order my own europian copy of ACWW.

I updated the FW to 1.60 (Compact flash version) and patcher to v2.51 and patched Animal Crossing and Mario Kart. Both connect fine and old saves work!

EDIT: I managed to fix it....

That is really strange - not sure how repatching the rom could correct the problem but glad that people have it working again. Also glad to hear that the old save game works - it would really suck if it didn't. It's one thing to lose online records but another if you had to start over after unlocking everything offline.

I want to mention the following to make clear nothing happened to my configuration:

I have Supercard CF, with Flashme v6 and latest SC software. It worked fine constantly and just since yesterday it DOESN'T work anymore. I'm from Holland-Europe by the way.

i don't think usb wifi is the matter: i'm using it but with modified generic drivers to work with other wifi devices too (saw it on www.gbarl.it it's an italian page though)

running 2 day of release nintendo ds's.
both on version .6 of flashme.
both running version 1.60 of supercard SD firmware.
both repatched games on 2.51 of patcher software.
both work fine online,and can even play each other mario kart,1 original,1 rom,1 copy of ACWW and 1 rom ,and vice versa(swapping roms for carts).
works fine for me using new save and old.
still keep metroid demo in slot,and mario kart is the euro original,and euro
rom.
oh,and both ds's are registered.

Just want to add that indeed Mario Kart and Animal Crossing work again after patching with the new SC patching software. Thanks people, I got kinda frustrated yesterday. And now it works again, pfffffff

defo not the usb adapter , im using a router and got me. Im in UK using a eur dump. Re patched and working for now with old save, thank god as i worked my ass off getting those 3 stars :-)

...seems odd that re-patching sorts it out

Everyone registers their DS to the game when they connect to WFC.

Unless your talking about logging into Nintendo's regional website and linking your DS or game to your username. Thats all optional.
