how come i most games cant connect to each other when i use 2 DS with 2 supercard, monkey ball works, mario kart works, most other (mario 64, zookeeper, metroid pinball, ...) dont

should i have an original cartdrige in the ds slot?

both ds have flashme v6 and frimware 2.60, all games have been patched with 2.50, and both supercards are CF

Honestly, I have no clue. I'm the only person I know of who has a supercard in the area... but I can play wireless multiplayer with my friend who has original games (IE: I play him in mario kart where I have the rom and he has the cart)

Precisely. Local, non-download multiplayer works fine between the SC and a real cart, but download multiplayer from a ROM to an unflashed DS usually doesn't.

Even WFC play works (mostly) fine from a ROM. (To be more precise, I've had no issues with it. I've even played Bleach online.)

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

What about download play to a flashed DS?

acky

I've hosted a game of Bomberman (which is download and play) using the rom and a flashed DS to a mixed group of players (flashed and non-flashed) and it's worked ok, but some games will not work such as Bleach.

That's why I said "most". Sonic Rush, Pokemon Toroze, and The Rub Rabbits work as well.

It's supposed to work, but I haven't had the opportunity to try it yet.

so no one knows exactly why some games work and others wont?

i flashed two ds to be able to play all kind of games in multiplayer this is kind of dissapointing :(

Download play to a flashed DS works. I've played Bleach with 4-player download play from my SCSD.

Bleach has not worked for me. I tried to host a D&P 3 player game. Two of the units were Flashme v5/v6 and the other one was original FWv4. The non-flashed DS would crash.

Last week I checked single card play with Puyo Pop Fever, that works.

Also Nintendogs Bark Mode [1 SC, 1 orig cart] also seems to work.

That's as far as I checked
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

The non-working signle card multiplayers are obviously the fault of the patching software.

Did you try it without the non-flashed unit? I downloaded to three flashed units, and it worked.

Where do you come up with this theory?

anyone tried with mario 64 and two supercard?

i really want to play this game

if itis not the patching software, what do you think is the problem?

my kidz have 2 SCSD's and can play EVERY ROM we have...including Mario 64.....this on 2 flashed 1st Gen NDS's...
could it be that its a 1st Gen Vs 2nd Gen hardware issue...??
