I would like the supercard to have bigger faster RAM, for games bigger than 256Mb without slowdowns loading from SD.  I would also like the supercard firmware SRAM to be bigger (so the firmware could be smarter), so raw game ROM patching could be handled internally by the firmware, no need to patch roms in windows.  I would gladly pay the extra cost.

Although, truth be told, the reason ROMMan has such a large userbase is the price...faster memory would push the price up. Maybe what he needs is a supercard premium/plus/nitro/uber/extreme of sorts. Better stuff...bit more expensive.

the supercard 2.0 WOULD be the "premium/plus/nitro/uber/extreme" version!!

in an ideal world, i would like the SCSD to fit completly inside the GBA slot, maybe faster ram, FAT32 support (or even ext3 or something like that) but most of all i want A SCSD DRIVER FOR DSLINUX :) thankyou

I hope that some way we can raech the creator of the supercard sd to show him that we are all interested in buying a new and improved supercard and maybe he will actually make one.

NOt only do we get a even greater piece of hardware then the supercard that we have now but even the crator can make more money out of it! YES its crazy but i would buy one !

the speed is the main thing im conserned about
the size comes next
and you guys are right... the touch pad menu would be cool...

I dont have a ds but im looking to get the ds lite when it comes out and im concerned about it sticking out too much. If you guys look at the pictures one the official site you will see how kool this new ds is! and how the card sticks out...to me it looks like nintenod made the new ds to have the gba carts stick out a little......WHY?

please make a new supercard! it would be greatly appreciated!

Robotochan

I'd just like it to be more power efficient and smaller. I'm hoping for a Supercard Lite to match my DS Lite

ekolimits

Yeah i really want that ds lite! im consirned about the card sticking out that much though...

Robotochan

There is images of a U-Connector for the GBA slot around somewhere which means that the entire card is on the bottom of the DS which would be quite cool if it was made

what keepin this Roman guy from releasing a newer smaller, more quality built & faster sd version of the supercard he sure have more than enough money by now to fund a new project, the M3 people have already released 3 types of the sd version the latest which is the same size as the original GBA cart.

sdmini version is still "rumor" have not seen it confirmed anywhere reliable

hmm an sd mini version would solve the problem in making the cart samller..... i think the sd card reader takes a lot of space in the supercard.

but is making it a mini a good idea? all of us have the regular sd cards and i know i wouldnt be too happy knowing that i need to get a neww sd card to fit... but who cares i would get over it!!!!! :)  supercard 2.0 plz!

Robotochan

ekolimits, they have already changed the memory card format from Compact Flash (which ain't so compact) to SD, we are fine with it, would be nice if he made a universal patching software and firmware for both of them  :D

ekolimits

lol compact flash... not so compact afterall...lol
the sd mini is a good idea...

so lets get the things straightened uot..

sd or sd mini (both ok)
faster ram
faster sram
no need to patch roms (im ok with it but why not...)
smaller cart
better colors
ds touchpad support
updated media software (if possible because of thissue of m3)

did i miss anything ( does that sum it up well?)

Same here, but I found this on an Italian site a few days ago:

http://www.gbarl.it/index.php?showtopic=13711&hl=mini-sd

Who knows if that's Photoshopped, but I kind of doubt it - looks real to me. And look at the size! Would be a PERFECT match for the Lite ...
