@omaemad: You said this:
Quotesorry if my guide was consfusing cf user dont need it except for the wifi instructions which they can save to their cf

How do save the wifi instructions on the CF? Does that mean I don't have to mount the SRAM?

I`ve got one question. How do I connect to my rooter? What I did so far is, that I copied the "dslinux.nds" file and the Folder "linux" (with the "retawq" in the bin-folder) to my CF-Card. Than I started DSLinux. I inserted the NintendoDS Login (root) and the Password (uClinux). After that I inserted retawq and he stated the programm. But what next? And when do I connect with the Rooter and how? Could someone please help me!

PS: I`m Supercard CF user

CF kids
follow the tutorial from the start of "vi" scetion except save using this
:w /home/online.sh
instead of
:w/sram/online.sh

dont bother mount sram stuff if ur a CF

run the scipt like so
sh /home/online.sh

cant get ap details? im not gonna even bother telling u for 2 reasons
its diffrent for evry router
its a dumb question

try this in ur pc internet browser
192.168.2.1

SD kids U have to sram for wifi settings and my updated driver will allow readonly to run apps off the sd card

i cant believe how hard ppl find this i got this running in 2 hours and i never used linux b4
man fears time but time fears the pyramid"

memyselfandi

i just don't know what you mean by ap name and ap ip and stuff like that...
the router is just called default and i know my ip adress and all that DNS
and default gateway.. i just don't know where each one goes where when you type the stuff

OK, I tried it. When I enter sh /home/online.sh I get this message:

route: SIOC[ADD|DEL]RT: Unknown error 101
ping: google.com: Unknown host

When I ping my router I get "Unknown error 101".

What could be the problem? And what is that channel number?

omaemad, when do you think you will be done compiling dslinux with the web browser for SC SD users?  Will it just be one file we have to put on our supercard?

New patching software v2.51  where can i get this patching software from??

GIDZzz

Don't you think it's a little off-topic?

gingi

I found a build that includes the brower in the romfs:
http://www.dslinux.org/index.php?s=&showtopic=1296&view=findpost&p=14465
I managed to set up my wireless information and ping my router, but couldn't get how to save it to the sram. I followed the guide here but have the same error as jbullfrog:

Quote from: "jbullfrog"when I try this

mount -t jffs2 /dev/rom1 /sram

I get  Unknown error 16

wht am I supposed to do?

Is there anything i can do?

Quote from: "omaemad"did you try the eraseall /dev/mtd1 first?

EDIT:
I think I solved this problem:
There shouldn't be space in "/dev/rom1 /sram", so you have to type "/dev/rom1/sram".

jbullfrog

I tried removing the space.  It worked. I then did the poweroff.  Next, I went to dslinux.sav  It asked whether I wanted to save to SD.  I clicked yes.

It erased my entire SD card.  My ACWW sav, my Trauma Center sav....my MKDS sav...

anyone help...
