I saw on another website peple claiming that some of the supercard's capabilities were "stolen" from the GBAMP.  Is this true?

P.S I have no negativity WHATSOEVER towards the SC. I love it!

I think they made a copy of their movie player or something but Im not sure.

The original movie playing software from supercard is a hacked version to work on the supercard. But that was an old version.

The GBAMP is NOT made by Romman.
It is actually made by the people of the M3!
There's your problem.
first you had a program which someone edited to work on their hardware.
no big deal... you paid for the GBAMP hardware not the software.
But now they are competing against eachother it suddenly became a good weapon for the M3 guys.

No negativity to either sides here too, they're both great devices. (in fact I think the M3 is better because of it's more expensive hardware it's less likely to fail. But then again the Supercard is cheaper.)

For a product half the price of the nearest rival the Supercard kicks considerable ass. Think about it, it was made for the GBA but works for the DS, Romman could have easily exploited us by changing the logo on the supercard.
