have you adjusted the lazer pot value ,also when burning with nero make sure you turn off buffer under run protection .also use very good quality discs RITEC G05  are the best i've used but you can use any make but make sure it is using G05 dye.also the mini discs are not as good as full size dvd discs so its worth getting a new case .

i beg to differ.. the mini size g04 discs are as good for gamecube backup as the full size g05's.  in fact, the full size discs have more frequent occurance of "wobble".  the only benefit i've found with my case mod, is that full size discs are CHEAP!  saved me a ton of money.. too bad i already made 50+ backups on ritek minis!  expensive...
